Hippie/Bohemian Trend

I've always admired the "artsy" kids at my school who could pull of this beautiful style. As the different trends have been gaining popularity, more styles have been created. Finally, there are some pieces that I am willing to give a shot.

Chaser LA Clothing Brand

Today, I was on www.hautelook.com and came across the brand Chaser. I'm so surprised that I've never heard of it before because it's so me. I live in loose, cropped, graphic or plain soft tees for school and casual weekdays.
As everybody already knows, crop tops are a huge trend right now. In addition, vintage tees such as ones from concerts are very popular. So when you combine the two with super soft and feminine tees, you get LOVE!

They also have your basic plain tees, cardigans, sweatshirts, and sweatpants for those of you who aren't into the whole edgy style.

Hautelook is selling them for extremely cheap right now but they are almost sold out so make your purchase quick! I'm so excited to get mine! Here's the three tees I just bought:

Teen Vogue Vintage Prom Shoot

I was skimming through www.teenvogue.com and came across their 2011 Prom Guide. One of the shoots was based on vintage dresses and they were absolutely gorgeous. Here are my favorites:

In 2007, they did a shoot for a Romantic Themed Prom and the pictures also turned out gorgeously. Remember this?

Urban Outfitters Cravings

I go onto www.urbanoutfitters.com daily and add items that I wish I had into the basket. (Yes, I know I should just make a wishlist.) As you can probably tell, I am in love with dresses and I live in them during the summertime. Here are my top 5 favorite day dresses that I'm debating on buying:

I don't know what it is about this last one, but I really want to get it...asap.

Maxi Dresses for Petite and Curvy Girls

As a follow up to my previous post, I decided to search for the ultimate maxi dress. Free People is notorious for their bohemian style clothing so I immediately went there and sure enough I found one.

Tips for the Small and Curvy:
For girls who have some curves - choose a dress that is fitted in the top and looser in the bottom (but not too loose because you don't want it to hide your figure).
If you are on the smaller side like me - stick with a simple pattern or a single color so that you can hem the bottom.

I love this dress because it is simple and practical. It's not skin tight, but still shows my shape. Also, it can be shortened easily and the black color will hide it. (Besides, black will show off your tan!) Pair it with a bright bag, some heels, and a statement necklace or belt.

Another great option is this Everyday Racer Dress.

Refinery 29 Street Styles

One of my favorite fashion blogs, http://www.refinery29.com/, always posts pictures of girls on the streets or other bloggers. Here are a few that I am in love with:

I love how wearable these outfits are. The first two are easy to replicate to create with items already in your closet. The other two are inspiration for this years maxi dress/skirt trend. I really want to try it out this summer so I wanted to find ways to wear them such as these two.
P.S. Sorry I don't have the links for each photo!
